New poll - Pick your Pixar

Walter and The Dude will be playing in the semifinals, but it seems as though The Dude is the better bowler, if only by a hair. Taking first place with 42% of the vote, El Duderino bested his best bud by a scant two votes, with that pederast Quintana rolling into third with just 3 votes. No contest.

For the latest poll, I figure it's time to settle the Pixar debate: which is their best film? I'd mentioned in a comment that I thought this might be a 3- or 4-horse race between Wall*E, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, and Finding Nemo, but that only leaves out, um, Toy Story and Toy Story 2, long considered the best - at least up until a couple years ago. I'm curious to see how this goes...

Toy Story still has the #1 spot for me.

I agree with Cinexcellence. Toy Story still blows me away every time I watch it.

So many great ones to choose from...

The Incredibles is still the best due to the explosions, water reflections and adult theme (death and the evil Jason Lee).

I love all the Pixar movies, even ones like Cars and Ratatouille that looked totally boring so I avoided them for a long time and then someone forced me to sit down and watch them and I was all "Hey, a cooking rat is kind of cute...and why the f%$@ am I crying at a cartoon?!?"

I haven't seen Wall*E yet, probably next weekend. But for me, Toy Story is still my favorite, with the sequel a very close second (booted lower because of the lame Randy Newman song that annoys me, even though I always approve of singing in movies.) Nemo too, though...man, this is a tough call.

You could make a case for most of them... I went with the Incredibles, as I enjoyed it the most in terms of humor/plot/action. It was a nice combination of the three.

I wouldn't vote for Cars, but it's not awful (i don't change the channel when it's on).

I'd actually be more interested in a vote on which is the WORST pixar movie.

I think my vote would be "A Bug's Life". It was decent, I wasn't upset that I watched it, but I wouldn't stop on it if I was flipping channels.

Farmacy - you've got the right question - which is worst? That will indeed be the next poll.

I had to vote for Toy Story, based largely in part by the fact that it's first. But it is a damn tough choice for me, with The Incredibles, Nemo and Wall*E all getting strong consideration...
