I love this review. A lot.
I will give it a wide berth.
Thanks, Blake. :D
Ryan - ok...
Good lord this film was boring!
I thuoght it had like 5 or 6 amazing individual scenes, but the rest of it was incredibly dull, not to mention pretentious
Tom - yay! Nice to see some haters coming out for this one. TWR seemed to be universally loved. I obviously missed something.
Bless you, Dylan! I was BORED with this movie. All the good stuff happens off-screen. Who cares about these people?
People were loving this movie. Nothing happens! I hated it! I didn't even review it. Why bother?
Branden - I only put this up out of posterity. I (eventually) do a review for every flick that I see in theaters, so this could be no exception. But yeah, I'm afraid it just didn't engage me enough. It seemed like it was heading somewhere but then got lost along the way (as did I when I nodded off).
I'm stunned! I thought this was a near 4-star flick and included it in my Top 10 for the year. A gorgeous film to look at, with fully developed characters and splendid performances. I found it powerful, gripping and unfortgettable.
