Dudes of the 80s Tournament - WINNER: John Cusack
Proving Chuck Klosterman right, the voters in the Dudes of the 80s tournament selected the everyman, attainable, brainy-yet-still-a-smartass John Cusack over the confident swagger of a Napoleonic hunk, as the Better Off Dead star took down Tom Cruise in the championship round by the score of 22-14. As I said yesterday, thanks again to all that voted, commented or otherwise publicized this little exercise. Time to return to regular programming!

Woohoo! Crazy Tom goes down. Even though Tom had some great movies in the 80s, I still like John better.
John Cusack used to take himself a lot less seriously. I miss those simpler times.
YESSS!! Well deserved Cusack...
Nothing nostalgifies like nostalgia. I missed out on the final vote, but things all came together exactly the way I wanted them to. A great feature for sure, gets all the old fogeys out of hiding.
