Poll results; new poll

No contest - Quentin Tarantino is your choice for 90s-era breakout director with the best career. Chris Nolan made a decent fight of it, but never really got close. I wonder which directors we'll be talking about in 10 years that got their starts in the naughties.

New poll wants to know, on the heels of Love Potion No. 9 star Sandra Bullock's Oscar win, who do you think amongst the unlikely choices I've given will be the first to win an Oscar for their acting ability. It would be too easy to give you a "None of the above" choice, so you don't get one.

4 people have chosen wisely: on "Poll results; new poll"

New poll is a tough one! None of these actors have the dramatic chops to pull it off unfortunately but I went with Cameron Diaz pretty much because of the "everyone likes her" factor

Do you think Luke Wilson will be eligible for all those AT&T commercials?

I gave it to Sandra's Speed co-star, Keanu.

Castor - not a bad idea. And she's at least been heralded in some of her work. Being John Malkovich comes to mind.

Rachel - Ha. Maybe if, in a few months, he pulls a Raging Bull and gets all thin. Show some Method to his craft.

Nick - I don't hate on Keanu like so many, but I just don't see it. He doesn't even pick that type of project (not yet anyway).
