Nicole Kidman
Comments: Interesting that the 90s perfectly bookended the one thing that defined Kidman entering the decade: her relationship with Tom Cruise. She got her big break co-starring opposite him in Days of Thunder, and were married in late 1990, only to be divorced just over 10 years later in 2001, not long after co-starring again with him in the psychosexual thriller Eyes Wide Shut. In between, she went from being merely known as the spouse of a marquee movie star to carving out a niche for herself in independent films and action films alike (and thankfully eschewing plastic surgery until later in her career).
90s Highlights: Days of Thunder, To Die For, The Portrait of a Lady, Batman Forever, Eyes Wide Shut
Jennifer Connelly
Comments: Though she has never been at the top of the A list, Connelly transitioned well from 80s (and early 90s) lust object to "serious" actress in the mid 90s, going from fare such as The Hot Spot (note to self: see The Hot Spot) to more thoughtful fare, such as Higher Learning and Dark City.
90s Highlights: Career Opportunities, Higher Learning, Dark City, The Rocketeer

Aw, geez! This one is a no brainer.
Really? In which direction? (Obviously, I disagree, and the early votes tend to confirm my thinking.)
Kidman should win this one for Eyes Wide Shut alone...
Nicole does have a better resume, but...mechanical horses win this one for me.
Jennifer gets hotter the older she gets too, she is amazing!
I have no idea... and I actually don't really care on this one. But because you said I always vote for the younger one, I went Connelly just for the hell of it.
Nicole Kidman... pre-surgeries.
There are a couple of Kidman films that prove she knows how to jump right into the meaty roles, but Connelly is very easy on the eyes.
I am gay for Connelly. And her kid is named Kai so I will off Paul Bettany, make her mine and call our son Jr.
If this was 00's match-up, I think it would be Kidman in a no-brainer. I ended up reluctantly voting for her anyway. If Requiem had come out one year earlier, I'd be singing a different tune.
I feel bad for Connelly. She might be a great actress, but I've never cared for Kidman much one way or another, even if she is striking. She's like a robot.
And thanks for the FB plugging, Red!
Kai, will EIC be okay with Bettany in that case?
