As you might've noticed, I've been getting spam-bombed every night for the past few nights, so I gotta turn Word Verification back on here for a bit. I know it's a pain, but this should only be temporary.

According to "Blogger" they are experimenting with automatic spam detection for comments on some blog. I guess this gadget is going to be similar to wordpress "spam catcher."
I'am not sure if you noticed the notice below on your dashboard...That is if you are one of the lucky recipients to be selected for a trial run...Here it goes:
We have enabled automatic spam detection for comments on some blogs. You should occasionally check the comments in your spam inbox. Learn more about Blogger's spam detection or report issues.

Thanks, DeeDee. I do have the new system in place for my blogs, but the problem is that there's a bunch of spam that's getting published and not just put in the spam inbox. I'm assuming that anyone that is subscribed to email replies of the posts where this is happening is getting 10 or more spam replies from BC a night, and I can't have that.
Very happy to deal with word verification if it stops the mad spamming in my inbox every morning. I was actually getting to the point of not wanting to comment on your posts there was so much. Glad it's fixed.
Eek - we can't have people not commenting. I'm glad it's fixed, too. :) I'll probably wait a couple weeks, then turn off the verification and see what happens.
One of Bloggers' biggest problems: spam and commenting. Hopefully they manage to keep Blog Cabins penis-enlargement free (superficially of course).
