Notice I still didn't wax poetic on the subject at hand, DJ. I showed incredible restraint. :D
Fletch - this is just the right amount of tribute. Everybody writes long articles and everybody says the same thing so nobody really reads them. Simple posts to acknowledge his passing are all we need. I thought of doing the same thing only with a picture of him in The Outsiders or Red Dawn. Thanks for not waxing poetic.
JLG - thanks, I completely agree. I go in my Google Reader and see 20 tributes to some old time director with stories about the first time someone saw one of their movies and the impact it had on their outlook on life and blah blah blah.
The more obscure the person, the more forgiving I am. No one needs another word shed over Michael Jackson's death.
