Last winner: Jess, with 6 points.
The theme: All the flicks were set in part or whole in Arizona. Gotten by Justin, and worth 5 points.
Here's the new dozen. The rules are simple: - I'm going to give you a dozen taglines, all you have to do is name as many flicks that they belong to as you can. Get the most and you win. There will always be a theme, though it's worth will vary according to how difficult I think it is. This week's is a bear - 8 points.

Great job so far by all. S_o_G has the lead with one tag and the theme left, with 5 points.
However, S_o_G also has my "Google Spidey sense" on tingle after getting Death Wish III, though - that was the bear trap of the group; after all, it's not impossible that someone would be a fan or be able to deduce what it was...but I'm just projecting my knowledge onto all of you and wondering why anyone would know that one. Keep in mind, Google Spidey sense is only on tingle - nothing crazy here...
No hint guesses just yet?
Fletch: I actually enjoyed (at least in campiness) Death Wish and Death Wish II. But I didn't even know there WAS a Death Wish III. Huh...
As for theme... my best guess is that each has a character that is ex-military.
3 is Blood Simple by the Coens. . .
Now for that theme. . .
Hints yet?
Good deal, Justin. You're just in time (and earlier, I see) to try for the theme.
First hint: think action, not actors.
Theme: A character does one thing which effects everything that happens from that point on in the movie.
>>...but I'm just projecting my knowledge onto all of you and wondering why anyone would know that one.<<
Actually, my brother is a huge Charles Bronson fan and subjected Mr. Sea and I to that film not to long ago -- primarily for laughs. ;-) It was the same night we were also subjected to Kingdom of the Spiders -- because Bro's other god is William Shatner.
Theme? I have no idea.
Theme: they all have character(s) hiding/running from the law
Each has a character that goes on vigilante justice?
That's quite the coincidence, S_o_G.
Naw, just kidding. My heart goes out to you and Mr. S_o_G for having to watch that...
I should have made this theme worth more. Methinks it might be harder than I originally intended. Here's a big hint: the action occurs many times in Idiocracy.
Of course... the hint is geared towards the movie I *haven't* seen.
They all have somebody being arrested.
Shane: As far as I'm aware, though... nobody is arrested in 'Taken'. Everybody just dies horrible, horrible deaths :P .
Hmmm, I think you are correct. I was so dissappointed with that movie that I've tried to blank it from my mind.
They each have a running joke/line of dialouge?
-Jason
The theme is they are all movies that would've been better with a Weird Al Yankovic cameo.
Does somebody get slapped in all the movies?
Frank - well, that's a bit too obvious, though, isn't it? Weird Al = cinematic gold.
Shane - you're warm. Very warm...
Winner winner chicken dinner. Shane climbs in the standings.
somebody getting kicked in the crotch? I feel that's too broad for a theme :P .
